Business Cards: Adib's Rug Gallery
Admittedly, this client is a personal acquaintance. As a result of being familiar with one another, however, they were also my most demanding client. Given that, I always welcome a challenge.

The owner of this retail business, which sells hand-woven rugs, requested business cards for each of their employees. I was instructed to not only fit their names and company information, but also the multiple logos that the Gallery brand had transitioned to and from over its lifetime— all in a single minimalist, contemporary design that rings as classic as the rugs they sell.
Because the company had no design assets from past marketing campaigns, I began with creating their iconography from scratch, including a line-art rendering of the architectural marvel that the gallery showcases its collection in.
My primary focus with the design was to house both logos in a way that doesn't overstimulate the eyes or have the recipients question why there is more than one.

The selection of a gold and black theme achieves the business owner's desire for a contemporary look while reflecting the luxury that can be found inside the gallery's doors.
